Vyatta OS Upgrades

Upgrading the Vyatta operating system can be performed by using the "add system image" and using a source URL from our private network repository. (You cannot access the URL from the public network, private network access only)

A list of available Vyatta upgrade ISOs can be obtained from http://mirrors.service.softlayer.com/brocade/

NOTE: If you are using Vyatta in a gateway high availability pair, upgrade the current BACKUP machine, verify that it is working properly, then access the MASTER and fail it over with "reset vrrp". Once the other machine has taken control, upgrade the remaining machine.

An example upgrade process is shown below.
