The Local Network Status screen displays the status of your local network, which consists of all routers, switches and hosts on an account. The screen is split into two sections - the Active Network Issues section outlines all outstanding network issues, while the Infrastructure Overview displays routers, switches and hosts, along with their corresponding status. A green up arrow indicates that the component is up, while a red down arrow indicates the arrow is down. Follow the steps below to access the Local Network Status screen.
Access the Local Network Status Screen
- Access the Customer Portal using your unique credentials.
- Select Network > Status > Local from the Navigation Bar to access the Local Network Status screen.
What Happens Next
From the Local Network Status screen, authorized users have the ability to view active network issues for routers, switches and hosts in the Active Network Issues section. Additionally, users may view the current status of routers, switches and hosts and access hosts within the Infrastructure Overview section. The Local Network Status screen in primarily a view-only environment, with the opportunity to dismiss issue notifications within the Active Issues Network section and access hosts (devices) once the appropriate level within the Infrastructure Overview is reached.
