Changing server port speeds in the SL portal

The SoftLayer customer portal allows you to modify the speed that your server is currently negotiating at without opening a Support ticket.
To begin, simply browse to the Customer Portal >> Public Network >> Port Control >> Control (for the desired server)

Once selected, you'll be able to modify the current speed settings for the servers connection. For this example, we're looking at the Public Network connection (eth1). This can be done for both Public and Private network connections.

A manual configuration change for your server's network settings will be required to complete the port speed change.
