The Passmark utility suite for Linux only contains the Burnin stress test at this time. Burnin will stress test the hardware for a pre-determined ammount of time, forcing latent hardwere errors to the surface. It's important to make full backups of all needed customer data prior to running this test, as it will force faulty hardware to fail completely. In order to launch a stress test on your Linux server, you can browse to:
/usr/local/burnintest
and execute either the bit_cmd_linex32 or bit_cmd_linex64 file, depending on the OS type. The configuration file for the program can be found at:
/usr/local/burnintest/cmdline_config.txt
The log file information can be found at:
/var/log/BiTLogBIT_log.log
